While on facebook I find many interesting videos posted by friends.There have been many a time, when I wished I had a faster internet connection so that I could view all those streaming videos.Unfortunately either my internet connection will be slow, or even if the connection is fast there will be a 1.5 GB download limit.This happens because I browse via BSNL EVDO, which doesn’t have a decent range at my home. The Bsnl broadband has decent speed but it has a download limit.So finding an alternative way was essential so that my download could be processed at a higher download speed.
Downloading a video using a slower connection can be better than watching streaming video using the same.I tried my luck with a lot of firefox addons,like youtube downloader.But none of them was perfect for me,because these didn’t allow to download videos from facebook.Since downloading videos from facebook was my priority,saving these facebook videos needed a download manager which would automatically detect videos and download it on my click.
I got my software I needed while visiting a friend of mine,it was a free trial version of Internet Download Manager(IDM), the IDM has done wonders for me.It has changed my internet connection to a download friendly version.The IDM has been given a five star rating by the CNET review team.I have been using the Download accelerator plus till I switched to IDM free version,the DAP was just fine, but comparing to IDM it is below par with a lot of crappy advertisements.
After I installed the IDM, I could download facebook videos,youtube videos and videos from any video site.Whenever I browse through a page where video content is present, IDM prompt appears, asking us whether to download it or not. If I click download, the file begins downloading and gets saved in downloads folder within seconds or minutes depending on the download speed.
As per my experience, I think IDM is the best download manager in market now.Hope the readers of this blog also share the same experience.If you have a better download manager to suggest please add it to the comments section.

IDM is the best so far. It’s very easy to use and totally fast (depending on your connection). I don’t think I would change to another download manager.
